What are the best ways to prevent cancer?

With the ever-growing advancements in cancer studies, doctors have found ways to prevent cancer symptoms among all age groups. However, the best ways to prevent cancer works only for acquired cases.

There are two ways in which cancer targets the body. If a person is diagnosed with cancer due to environmental changes, it is called acquired cancer. This mode of mutation has affected the maximum types of cancer throughout the globe. However, if a person is diagnosed with cancer that is hereditary, it is called germline cancer. This mode of mutation passes from parent to child through sperm or egg.

It is only the acquired cancer that we can prevent through lifestyle changes. A study has shown that adopting a healthy lifestyle reduces the risk of cancer. It means that you can prevent terminal diseases like cancer if you follow a healthy diet and exercise routine.

Another study has shown that eating a healthy diet, avoiding alcohol and tobacco, and ensuring quality sleep can reduce chances of cancer in the future. Moreover, the study also recommends avoiding exposure to radiation, industrial and environmental toxins, and pollution, as they contain harmful cancer-causing carcinogens.

The other way of preventing cancer is avoiding infections. The hepatitis viruses, HIV, and the human papillomavirus can introduce foreign toxins in the body to induce cancer in the future. The best way to prevent cancer is to visit a dietician who can help with preparing a plan for healthy living.
