Is it possible to have a normal baby after miscarriage?

Yes. It is possible to have a normal baby after a miscarriage. Having a miscarriage doesn’t mean that it will happen again. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, “around 65% of women with unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss have a successful next pregnancy”.

Even though many early pregnancy losses are due to chromosomal abnormalities, one can make healthy lifestyle choices to prevent a miscarriage in future such as having a balanced diet, exercising regularly, taking the recommended nutrients like prenatal vitamins, folic acid, avoiding alcohol, drugs and smoking, and limiting caffeine.
