What are hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids, which people often call piles, are like swollen veins in the anal canal. The anal canal is the part that connects the rectum to the anus. This condition can make people uncomfortable and itchy. Sometimes it might hurt or even bleed a little.
Hemorrhoids can be inside or outside the anus. The ones inside are in the tube where people poop from. These usually don’t hurt because that part doesn’t feel pain very well. But sometimes, they can make the poop have bright red blood. The ones outside are under the skin near the anus. These are dilated blood vessels that have become so enlarged that they protrude. People might feel these as soft lumps that can hurt and itch. Sometimes, they can get blood clots inside them, hurting them even more.
There are different reasons why hemorrhoids happen. Pushing too hard while pooping, having stomach problems like constipation or diarrhea a lot, and being pregnant increases the risk of hemorrhoids. Also, obesity, sitting or standing for a long time, and not eating enough foods with fiber can all make hemorrhoids more likely. Also, as you get older, the tissues holding the veins in your bottom can weaken.
What is the treatment for hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoid treatments vary based on severity and preferences. Lifestyle changes like more fiber, hydration, and gentle bowel movements help mild cases. A high-fiber diet, exercise, and stress reduction aid symptom management.

Relief includes lidocaine creams. Nitroglycerin boosts blood flow, and stool softeners prevent straining.
Can complementary alternative treatments treat hemorrhoids?
Possible. Complementary alternative treatments can be beneficial to soothe the symptoms of hemorrhoids. Evidence shows that adopting a high-fiber diet and using supplements, applying herbal ointments containing ingredients like witch hazel or aloe vera, utilizing oils such as tea tree or coconut oil, considering homeopathic remedies like Aesculus, exploring acupuncture for pain relief, practicing gentle yoga or relaxation techniques, making lifestyle adjustments for better anal hygiene and posture, and finding comfort in herbal teas can also be helpful.
Can the use of a herbal spray cure hemorrhoids?
Not really. Hemorrhoids don’t have a single definite cure that lasts forever. But there are different treatments and changes you can make to your lifestyle that can help manage and ease the problems they cause. Sometimes, with the right care, hemorrhoids can get better or even go away. But they might come back if you don’t deal with the things that cause them, like being constipated or straining too much when you poop.
It is difficult to say if a spray made from herbs can make hemorrhoids go away completely. While scant evidence shows that some herbal sprays may offer relief from hemorrhoid symptoms, they may not completely cure the health condition.
The Facebook video in question makes it appear that this spray can eliminate hemorrhoids, but the website it redirects to the website named Homestreet.live which actually states that the spray only helps with the symptoms and treats hemorrhoids, fissures and anal discomfort.
Also, we do not know if the Hemocare Natural Herbal Hemorrhoids Spray really works to cure hemorrhoids. The product page on Homestreet.live does not show us what’s in the spray, so we do not know if it could help. We haven’t found any good scientific studies or medical proof that says it works either.
Moreover, we have not fact-checked if the Hemocare Natural Herbal Hemorrhoids Spray is really effective. We only looked into the things the video and the website said about it, not the actual product.
The video has made baseless overexaggerated marketing claims with an aim to increase sales. The video shows the spray making hemorrhoids disappear like magic. That’s not how it really works. A spray cannot make hemorrhoids go away.
Also, we looked into the people in the video, but we didn’t find any proof that they know a lot about this stuff.
