You need to identify the cause to plan brain fog treatment. The causes of brain fog can include lifestyle challenges such as stress, dehydration, lack of sleep, hormonal changes, burnout, a poor nutritional diet, medications or drugs. Certain medical diseases such as anaemia, diabetes, depression, Sjögren syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease, migraine, hypothyroidism, autoimmune diseases and viral infections, including COVID-19 can also cause brain fog.  

Besides prescription-based treatment, healthy lifestyle modifications can also help clear the brain fog. A low stress lifestyle and a healthy diet with adequate sleep and exercise, etc. can reduce brain fog to a great extent.
