Is the video fake?
We reviewed the video. The video talks about how dangerous the Delta variant of Coronavirus is, how it has spread across multiple nations and how WHO has issued a warning – all of which are true news. The video DOES NOT talk about the onset of the third wave of the pandemic in India or any lockdown declaration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The title of the video or the cover image has been misrepresented, most probably to get more people to click on it.
Has Narendra Modi declared a lockdown due to the onset of third wave of Coronavirus infection?
No. Till the time of filing this news, there has been no Govt of India declaration on the lockdown. PIB Fact Check had already tweeted about this debunking the false rumor.
