Does it mean I have a weak heart if I experience angina?
Angina is a sign of underlying heart disease that can progress to complications and even death. These underlying conditions decrease the supply of oxygen to the heart or increase its workload and can result in angina. These conditions include blockages in the arteries that supply blood to the heart, arrhythmia or heart failure.

Angina can be a sign of a weak heart. It is a warning sign of an undiagnosed heart condition like an attack, irregular heart rhythm or heart failure. Angina is chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart. It is possible that blockage in the arteries has reduced blood flow to the heart. This results in a decrease in oxygen supply to the heart especially during stressful activities when the heart needs more oxygen. Angina is not life-threatening but an emergency that people must not ignore and should immediately visit a hospital and seek medical treatment.
