How can you cure stress?

In today’s high pressure lifestyle, it is difficult to steer clear from stress completely. While stress, in moderation, can push you to perform better, excessive stress can be harmful for your body.

To control stress in life you can do the following:

  1. Try meditation for 30 minutes every day. You may find it difficult to concentrate initially but with continuous practice you will be able to see the difference in sometime.
  2. Practice deep breathing. Deep breathing counters the effect of stress by slowing down the heartbeat and lowering the blood pressure
  3. Talk to your friends or loved ones. Share your thoughts on what is keeping you stressed. Venting out, at times, helps.
