Emergency Surgical Intervention
A 32-year-old unmarried female arrived at the emergency department with severe abdominal pain and nausea lasting two days. She showed dyspnoea, tachycardia and abdominal tenderness. An emergency laparoscopic procedure was performed using techniques aligned with laparoscopic management of endometriotic cysts. Dense omental and bowel adhesions had completely obliterated the pouch of Douglas, and endometriotic deposits were seen extending up to the liver surface.
