फादर मुलर मेडिकल कलेजका सहप्राध्यापक तथा स्नायु-विशेषज्ञ परामर्शदाता डा. पवन राज भन्छन्, “हाम्रो दिमाग बाक्लो खोपडी भित्र धेरै राम्रो सङ्ग अलग अवस्थित हुन्छ, र टाउकोको ऊतकको सात तह पछि कपालको सतहले तापमानको अस्थिरता बाट जोगाउँछ। टोपी र मोजाले चिसो मौसममा निद्रामा सहयोग पुर्याउने सहयोगी बस्तु हुनु बाहेक मस्तिष्कको स्वास्थ्यमा खासै प्रभाव पार्दैन।”

नेशनल स्लीप फाउन्डेशन द्वारा पनि यही सल्लाह दिइन्छ। यसको वेबसाइट स्लीप Sleep.org मा सुत्नु अघि तपाईको खुट्टा न्यानो गर्दा तपाईंको दिमागलाई सुत्ने समय हो भनेर स्पष्ट निद्रा संकेत दिन मद्दत गर्दछ भनेर दाबी गरिएको छ।

२००७ को एउटा अध्ययनमा वयस्कहरू सामान्य वा न्यानो मोजा लगाउँदा ओछ्यानमा छिटो निद्रा आउने जानकारी दिएको छ। उस्तै अध्ययन १९९९ मा Nature.com मा पनि प्रकाशित भएको थियो।

के मोजा लगाएर सुत्दा छालाको समस्या हुन सक्छ?

एनआरएस मेडिकल कलेज र अस्पतालकी छालाविज्ञान एमडी सहायक प्राध्यापक डा. जोइता चौधरी भन्छिन्, “सामान्य अवस्थामा मोजाले छालामा कुनै समस्या उत्पन्न गर्दैन। तर अस्वस्थ जीवनशैली जस्तै दैनिक रूपमा ननुहाउने वा कार्यालयमा लगाएको मोजा नै लगाएर ओछ्यानमा जाने व्यक्तिहरूमा छालाका समस्याहरू देखा पर्न सक्छन्। म दैनिक रूपमा इन्टरट्रिगो, फंगल सङ्क्रमण जस्ता छालाको सङ्क्रमण भएका बिरामीहरूलाई जाँच गर्छु र तिनीहरूमा सङ्क्रमण को कारण धेरै आलस्य हुनु वा आधारभूत स्वच्छता दिनचर्या अनुसरण गर्न नसक्ने गरि अति व्यस्त हुनु हो। बाहिरी काम गर्ने व्यक्तिले घर पुग्ने बित्तिकै उनीहरूको मोजा परिवर्तन गर्नुपर्दछ, अन्यथा सङ्क्रमण हुने सम्भावना सँधै रहन्छ।

दिन भरि मोजा लगाउँदा संक्रमण मात्र होईन बरु कोरेर पोष्ट इन्फ्लेमेटरी हाइपर-पिग्मेन्टेसनको साथै  डर्मेटाइटिस पनि हुनु धेरै सामान्य हो। त्यसैले आफ्नो खुट्टा धुनु, सफा र सुक्खा राख्नु आवश्यक छ।

निन्द्रामा मोजा लगाउनु कुनै मुद्दा छैन। तर यदि तपाईलाई खुट्टा वा औंलाहरु मा छाला संक्रमण छ भने कृपया मोजा प्रयोग नगर्नुहोस् वा तपाई को छाला विज्ञानी सङ्ग परामर्श गर्नुहोस्।

यस बाहेक, अत्यधिक पसिनाको समस्या भएका व्यक्तिहरूले दैनिक आफ्नो मोजा परिवर्तन गर्नुपर्छ। खुट्टा मा दुर्गन्ध को समस्या हुने व्यक्तिहरूले दिन मा दुई पटक मोजा परिवर्तन गर्नु पर्छ। यदि तपाईंलाई कुनै मिश्रित कपडामा बाट एलर्जी छ भने कपासको मोजा मात्र प्रयोग गर्नुहोस्। ” रोग नियन्त्रण र रोकथाम केन्द्रहरू (सीडीसी) ले “सजिलै नसुक्ने (जस्तै नायलन) कपडाबाट बनेको मोजा”, विशेष गरी एथलेट फुट (टिना पेडिस) जस्ता खुट्टा संक्रमणको मामिलामा नलगाउन सल्लाह दिन्छन्।
