Patient awareness regarding the progression of their health condition and treatment options can mentally prepare them and potentially prevent future complications. However, excessive knowledge without consulting the consulting doctor may cause confusion and anxiety for the patient.

Patients and their caregivers can refer to reading on authentic medical and research platforms to gather information about their illnesses and other related factors.
How does medical misinformation act as a problem in the overall treatment procedure?
Medical misinformation is a troubling issue, especially for the patients as it can delay their treatment and create chaos.
