What is the best thing you enjoy about treating patients?

I love treating my patients, but my methods are slightly different. I prefer to talk to them first regarding their mental blockages. A healthy mind leads to a healthy body. If you are able to remove the mental blockages of a patient, it becomes easy to treat their physical problems.

When is a patient easy to treat?

The treatment procedure gets easier when patients express their concerns freely with me.

When is a patient difficult to treat?

Puzzled, confused and misinformed patients can be very difficult to treat.

How helpful is it to the treatment course, if the patient is knowledgeable about the treatment procedure, benefits, risks etc.?

It is very helpful. Patient’s knowledge about their conditions can improve the health outcomes. If a patient is well-informed about a certain disease, they can play an important role in controlling and treating their condition.

How can a patient improve their knowledge about the treatment procedure?

Verified and reliable sources on the internet can help in improving a patient’s knowledge about a health condition and its treatment procedure.

How does medical misinformation act as a problem in the overall treatment procedure?

Misinformation is one of the biggest problems that we are facing in this generation. Many a times, patients come to us for consultation after self-diagnosing basing their knowledge on misinformation. It becomes very difficult for us to deal with such cases as the patients do not comply with the treatment procedures advised by us.

A few advice that you always give to your patients…

I always tell my patients to have faith on my medical advice. If you come across any medical information on the internet, always come back and discuss it with your doctor before trusting them.
