A video shows a man demonstrating hand exercises to help one stay fit and healthy. This video has been widely shared on social media with the claim that the man is Dr. Bajaj, the former head of the Cardiology dept. in Batra hospital. We fact-checked and found the claim is False

The Claim

A Twitter post shared by a user named UdthaBollywood (@BanCheneProduct) shows a man striking, rubbing, and punching his hands in different forms. While demonstrating these exercises, the man claims that they can be done anytime and can improve blood circulation and digestion. The exercises can also enhance mood. 

The video caption claims that the man in the video is Dr. Bajaj. MD, DM, former head of cardiology at Batra hospital.

Fact Check

Is the man demonstrating hand exercises from Batra hospital?

No. A Twitter user pointed out in the comment section that the man in the video is an entrepreneur from Chennai named Mr. Prakash. The user also shared the link to the full video uploaded on the channel ‘seechangeprakash’ on April 5, 2020. 

While carefully analyzing the YouTube video, we found no evidence that can show the man in the video is a doctor. On the contrary, a simple keyword search for ‘seechangeprakash’ on Google took us to seechangeworld.in, which provides management consultations. The website shows that the man seen in the video is S. Prakash. He is the co-founder and CEO of the consulting firm named See Change World. He has mentioned himself as a strategic thinker & turnaround specialist.
