Fact Check

Did WEF say that the blood from prepubescent people possesses anti-aging properties?

It does not seem so. No evidence confirms WEF has shared such a Twitter post. We ran an advanced search on Twitter and found no post that can show WEF has made such a claim. Even the web archive shows no evidence of such a claim on Twitter.

We even researched more about the post and found that the post was kept on the buffer and was actually never published. Buffer is a Twitter app that allows social media users to add tweets to be sent on a schedule. With the buffer, users can plan out their social content in advance, view upcoming posts in a calendar view, and get insights and recommendations for when and what to post.

Besides this, the website link mentioned in the post does not work.

“This is fake. The World Economic Forum never published this or anything like this,” Yann Zopf, a spokesman for the organization, told AFP. “This is disturbing and worrying. We are aware that there are fake messages in our name on social media which is regrettable,” he said.
