An article in a website claims that the wife of Pfizer’s CEO has passed away after having received the COVID-19 vaccination. We fact-checked and found that the claim is false.
The Claim
“Myriam Bourla – the wife of Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla – has died from complications from the COVID-19 vaccine early Wednesday, according to her doctor,” reads the story from the website Conservative Beaver published on Nov. 10, 2021.

Did the wife of Pfizer’s CEO pass away?
No. Myriam Bourla – the wife of Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla did not die on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from COVID-19 vaccine complications.
On November 12, two days after the article was published, she attended the Distinguished Leadership Awards along with her husband. A photo from the event was tweeted by by Albert Bourla.
In addition, there was no media reports or obituary on any of the media platforms in US or across the World.
Conservative Beaver, who has published the story did not mention any source. Conservative Beaver has peddled fake news earlier too about the CEO of Pfizer.
