It does not seem so. The available evidence does not confirm lemon treats cancer. An article published in 2019 shows citrus food, including lemons, contains compounds that may prevent cancer. However, this conclusion has been blown out of proportion by claiming lemon is the most effective cancer remedy. Is hot lemon water more effective than cold lemon water in treating cancer?

It does not seem so. No evidence shows hot lemon water is more effective than cold lemon water in treating cancer. Relying solely on home remedies and not seeking proper cancer treatment can worsen the condition to make the disease incurable.

Dr. Manish Singhal, Senior Oncologist, Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, in an interview to THIP MEDIA says ‘drinking lemon and water regularly can be a good source of vitamin c and keep people hydrated. This concoction can wash away toxins to make people feel good. Lemon water, either hot or cold, cannot treat cancer’.
