Yashika has completed her MSc in Science Communication from the University of Sheffield, currently working as the Communication Officer for Action Against Stunting Hub, a research consortium working towards rethinking conventional approach to preventing stunting among children under the age of five. She believes that scientific matters belong to the scientific experts and the public outside the ivory tower. Thus, she has taken upon the mission of simplifying science for the common masses while sparking awareness and interest in the subject through communication and engagement activities. Besides talking about science, she loves to explore the chemistry of cooking with recipes from around the world and seek new perspectives from the pages of books on her evergrowing bookshelf.
